Teaching and Bonsai study has always been, and continues to be, an important part of Willowbog Bonsai; we bring to the nursery some of the leading Bonsai teachers in Europe including Marco Invernizzi and Marc Nöelanders.

We are holding monthly novice/intermediate bonsai workshops at Willowbog Bonsai led by Len Gilbert with help from other Willowbog regulars including Dave Hannah, Sue Summers and Peter Snart.

Len is one of Willowbog's most experienced and enthusiastic regulars and has always delighted in helping people in any way he can with their bonsai. Bring a tree or trees along and get the help you need to guide you through the various techniques required to advance them as bonsai. You will find it a relaxed, informal and most enjoyable day, of that you can be assured!

£25.00 for the full day includes lunch and refreshments.

Marc Nöelanders Workshops

Marc Nöelanders is without doubt one of Europe's leading Bonsai teachers, combining great natural artistic ability with a mastery of technique.

His approach of treating the workshop situation as primarily as a learning experience fits exactly the Willowbog philosophy. The way he teaches and the end results of his workshops are making him a regular part of the Willowbog Workshop Programme.
